While staying at the Mayan Palace In Puerto Penasco the first week of April 2013, money was stolen from my vehicle while it was under the care of the hotel/valets.$13.00 in paper money was taken from a compartment in the dash, and $12.00 in U.S.

dollar coins were taken from the arm rest in the drivers door. I know this money should not have been left by me in the vehicle and $25.00 isn't that big a deal, but just the idea of knowing there are thieves working there makes a person cautious about ever going back.

Who knows what else they may steal.I will never stay at a Mayan Palace again!

Monetary Loss: $25.

Mayan Palace timeshare sales tactics are hardcore and they will tell you anything you want to hear to get you into the contract and keep you in contract with them. It is too common for the sales representative to offer you an upgrade if you already own a timeshare with them. Most of the scams being committed by the Sales representatives is that they don’t let their buyers know they have a 5 days cooling period if they wish to cancel; instead, they repeatedly tell they buyers once the contract is being sign there is no cancellation period
